*** Enjoying My Son's Prada Tournament

I've been dying to post this since last Saturday but unfortunately, our internet connection at Bulacan is still under going some problems so I had a hard time uploading these photos. When I went home to Paranaque last Sunday, I didn't have time to blog because it's my laundry day and I went to bed early because it's school day again come Monday. Yesterday, I was busy buying stuffs for our house like groceries and I also went to the market. I even went to the bookstore to buy this new book that I really wanted to read.

So finally, after purchasing some plants in Bulacan for my shop today, I already have the time to upload and blog about this special event that we attended last Saturday in Marist School in Marikina, where the yearly Prada tournament of different schools was held. Actually it's a competition of different sports from different schools like Ateneo, La Salle, Don Bosco, Brent, PCS, ISM, Lourdes school and many more participating school.

My sons Rafael and Ryan are varsity players on Table Tennis of their school and they are competing for the Grade school and High School division. But only Ryan played this day because the players for the high school division are already complete so Rafael will play next week for the PAYA competition in Xavier School in Mandaluyong, just near LSGH.

Ryan won over Brent school in the single division but lost his game to ISM and Ateneo. I told him told it is just okay and he had a very good game. He shouldn't feel dissapointed because there are 5 more Saturdays after this one so he'll still have more chances of winning. Whatever the outcome of their games, I will still be very proud of them!

*** Mommy Moments: Let's Pretend

My daughter Jenine

Last Oct. 24, Saturday, we celebrated my daughter Jenine's 16th birthday together with her close friends in our home in Paranaque. Her actual birthday is Oct. 29 but she wanted to celebrate it earlier to give way for All Saints Day.

Only three of her close friends were able to make it, 2 are her official barkadas and Grace, her Korean classmate that we wanted to meet because Jenine always tells us stories about this classmate of her.

Since Halloween is just around the corner and fast approaching, I told the girls to wear funny hats for their pictorial. I actually told them to bring funny hats for the party but only Charelle brought one. So I run sacked our cabinets and found some hats that the other girls could use. Good thing that they are all excited to wear them and they happily agreed to pose for the pictorial.

I just can't believe that my daughter is already 16 years old! It seems like it's just only yesterday she's only 6 years old..... small, chubby with eye glasses and very talkative. When I took this photo I was pretending that she's only a pretty little girl, not this beautiful young lady smiling at me.
